This new book, just published by Elsevier, highlights and illustrates important topics relating to biorefineries, including associated theory, current, and future research trends, available techniques, and future challenges. Congratulations to the editor’s Professors Nuttha Thongchul, Antonis Kokossis & Suttichai Assabumrungrat for producing an excellent collection of chapters on different aspects of Biorefineries. One of my contributions in the book is a chapter on “Sustainable biorefinery process synthesis, design, and simulation: Systematic computer-aided methods and tools” with Mariona Bertran and Anjan Kumar Tula as co-authors.
